Osvil Acosta-Morales is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Department Chairperson for History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies at Community College of Philadelphia. He is especially interested in sharing with students the opportunity to experience research within the context of an archive like what is available at PHS. Direct work with artifacts and manuscripts during visits to PHS were occasions for high impact learning for students taking his courses in Social and Political Philosophy as well as Honors Modern Intellectual History and Philosophy. During the summer and fall of 2021, Osvil will be expanding his work with PHS to assist in developing material sets and study guides that will be helpful to students taking his course in Latin American Cultures and Civilizations.
