Hannah Carney is an educator and curriculum developer based in State College, Pennsylvania. As the History Resource Writer, Hannah wrote historical context information, source notes, and reading questions for the primary and secondary sources that make up the BKBB source sets. Hannah moved into the Digital Resources Coordinator role in the fall of 2020, working with a small team at PHS to write web copy and help design and organize this website. Hannah advocates for the use of primary source research at all levels of history education, and is delighted to see how students grapple with important historical questions as they read and analyze the writings and records of contemporary people.
