Stacey Mann is a learning experience designer and interpretive strategist who consults broadly with museums on how best to engage audiences both onsite and online, advocating social change through inclusive storytelling, civic literacy, and empathy. She writes extensively about the intersection of design, learning, and social justice and is on the Museum Exhibition Planning + Design faculty at University of the Arts. As a BKBB advisor, she worked with student exhibitors to explore the building blocks of interpretive storytelling: people, place, objects, image, and language. This project served as an inspirational reminder of how exciting it can be to re-discover stories of the past and find the threads that weave them into the present. You never know where it may take you.
