Kate Sanchez is an Assistant Professor of English at Community College of Philadelphia where she teaches courses in composition, literature, creative writing, and First Year Experience. She worked with PHS to design an assignment for her poetry writing students, using archive materials to teach how ekphrasis and research can be catalysts for poetry. She values the opportunity to connect students to PHS and hopes to continue collaborating with them in her Research Paper and British Literature classes.
