David Prejsnar is a professor in the History, Philosophy and Religious Studies Department at the Community College of Philadelphia for which he teaches Religion in American History. During the Fall 2018, 2019, and 2020 semesters, his students in the class used document sets from the PHS archives to write a research paper on selected topics in American religious history. During the fall of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the class and course project was carried out online. A number of students from these classes went on to be involved in the BKBB student exhibits or intern at PHS. Dave also helped organize sessions at CCP with PHS staff members on opportunities for student internships and educator collaborations.
