Cindy Giddle is an Associate Professor in the English department at Community College of Philadelphia, where she teaches composition, literature, and humanities courses. As a professor working with PHS, Cindy met with Jenny Barr multiple times to discuss and select materials to have her English 102 students use in their research, as well as bringing her students to visit PHS and inviting Jenny to visit her class at CCP. Cindy believes that students appreciate being included in the cultural and academic life of Philadelphia, and that PHS has wonderful materials about the history of 19th-century Philadelphia.
